How Our Handmade Candles Began
After experiencing what many might call a mid-life crisis, (I would prefer to call it an enlightenment of the soul), I took my passion for candles and good smelly body things and decided to start my own business. I became the CEO, CIO, COO, CMO, FW, DP and PCL. And, for those that are not familiar with the prestigious titles of FW, DP and PCL, they are factory worker, delivery person and the ever important Polish Cleaning Lady.
I figured that I couldn't possibly be the only one who liked to smell good and have a wonderful smelling home. And, guess what? I was right. There are loads of people just like me! And, when Scents of Humor first began, we started with highly scented candles. room and fragrance sprays. What smelled good to us vs. what didn’t was a challenge. We played and experimented, developing some of the most fantastic scents that we now use in our candles, and home fragrance sprays, car p-u-fumes, and other quality home fragrance products. It took three years of testing to come up with a wax blend for our candles that I was happy with, one that has an amazing scent throw, yet burns so clean and evenly and uses Soy wax. Our products are designed to be used as gifts, and as home décor.
On the next few pages, there are descriptions for several of the Scents of Humor products and our "scents" of humor. We have many different scents available. We offer a wide variety of products including jar candles, pillar candles, room sprays, and home fragrance products. If you don’t see the one you absolutely must have listed here, please ask as we may just have your favorite scent available. We hope that you enjoy your homemade candles and other products just as we’ve enjoyed making them for you.
